To each his-her Cross to bear

For all the Filipinos living in this country, the pain is just too great in carrying upon their shoulders a corrupt government full of liars, clever thieves, illiterate nincompoops, retarded children in adult wardrobe, supported by a private sector and a notorious component of the fourth estate that is equally or often more corrupt and ruthless, and so many other kinds and breeds of mongrels and parasites hanging onto these vile creatures for the DAP, PDAF, Malampaya moneys and other funds from the blood sweat and tears of the people.

The village elders would shrug it off always as one's cross to bear; indeed in life, each and every one has a baggage to carry, a cross to bear.  But the feel of the weight of carrying these ugly, monstrous beings vomited by Hell no less, is too much.

To compound it all, the diverting of our national attention appears to have began. Already, about a day ago, it was all over the news that a bomb scare caused a huge traffic jam in the national capital region. Agence France Presss - AFP, having a high vantage view wrote the story that crawled all over the internet. For a backpack allegedly thrown upon the roof of a bus from a foot bridge (the throwing could actually have been done from one of tall buildings along Roxas Boulevard), policemen had to stop traffic and mount a supposed inspection-possible manhunt for a suspected bomber. (See AFP photo below on PNP inspection of vehicles.)

The scare turns out to be a false alarm. There was no bomb, but merely dirty rags inside the bag.  The dirty clothes are symbolic of the trapo - traditional politicians - who might have been just the right items to have fallen from the high footbridge or the top of the tall buildings at that vicinity.

The demonic forces will not stop at bomb scares. This will now appear to be the signal of worse things to come. If we don't beware and just wait for those bad things to happen, it is a wonder how we will survive meaningfully and not in desperation. The better thing to do is to attack the diablos, after all, why did the strategists say the best defense is offense?
